Responsibilities of the Director:

  • Develop, Implement, and evaluate policies and procedures that guide the District in the day to day operation of the facilities and programs.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding Parks and Recreation Programs, Grants, and park facility user fees.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding park master plan and district strategic plans.
  • Annually review and make recommendations and approve the District’s operating budget.
  • Review and approve the District’s short and long range master plan.
  • Collaborate with staff and the public to analyze the needs of the community.
  • Review and make recommendations regarding bond referenda and facility user fees
