WHAT TO EXPECT:
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Structured training in volleyball fundamentals including how to pass, set, serve and hit the ball. We will also be learning the basic rules of volleyball and the different positions the girls can play as they advance through this sport.
TEAMWORK AND SPORTSMANSHIP
Volleyball as a sport is designed with close proximity and communication to the people on your team. The girls will learn how to communicate and move as one. As they progress, they can see volleyball is a game built off of mistakes. The girls will learn how to keep a growth mindset while adjusting to each play and lifting one another up.
FUN AND SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT
No matter your kid's skill level, they should be able to enjoy some time outside with peers. There is going to be enough time for them to learn and progress through the week. I have been playing volleyball for about 14 years now, and have played in college. I want the girls to feel empowered to see how far this sport can take them if they put their mind to it.
