​ All applicants, contract employees, and interns offered a position with Boulder Creek Recreation and Parks District must consent to a background check and finger-printing as a condition of employment. Certain positions require medical and drug testing, validation of driver’s license and DMV records and background checks involving finger-printing and sexual abuse/neglect registry checks with the State of California will be required.

Recreation Program Intern: Intern will help in managing weekly classes and recreation instructors at the facility location as well as in the parks. The intern position starts in September as a weekly commitment is required to achieve letters of recommendation. Intern will be in charge of some office hours, phone calls, coordination of select weekend events.​

The position requires an interest in community building.  The individual must posses good social skills and feel comfortable problem solving and hosting events.

1-2 day a week options 4-6 hours per week- Note this is not a paid internship
