Get ready for an exciting summer at Bear Creek Summer Day Camp! Our camp is designed to provide kids with a fun-filled experience, featuring a variety of engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and teamwork!​

Daily Activities Include

- Science Exploration: Hands-on experiments and fun science projects that spark curiosity and engagement.

- Art Creations: Creative projects ranging from painting and crafts to photography, allowing your child's artistic side to shine.

- Sports & Games: A variety of team sports and outdoor games that promote physical activity and cooperation while ensuring fun in the sun.

- Daily Pool Time: Cool off in the pool each day with swim games and free play time.

- River Play & Hiking: Explore nature through guided hikes and river activities that encourage outdoor adventure and environmental appreciation.

Adventure Camp

Kids in the Kitchen – A Baking Adventure! Little chefs, get ready! In this hands-on baking camp, our youngest bakers will explore the magic of the kitchen through fun and simple recipes. From mixing and measuring to decorating delicious treats, children will build confidence, creativity, and fine motor skills while learning basic cooking techniques. Each day will bring a new baking adventure, from homemade muffins to delightful no-bake snacks. Get ready for a week of tasty fun and sweet memories!

Ocean Explorers – A Week of Underwater Discovery! Dive into adventure with Ocean Week! This camp is perfect for little ocean lovers as we explore the wonders of the sea through hands-on activities, crafts, and sensory play. From learning about fascinating sea creatures to making ocean-inspired art, kids will engage in fun, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Whether we’re creating a tide pool in the classroom or pretending to be playful dolphins, this week is all about exploring the deep blue sea in a fun and engaging way!

Mini Makers – A Week of Art & Creativity!
Let’s get creative! Our Little Explorers will dive into a world of color, texture, and imagination in this hands-on art camp. Each day, children will experiment with different art techniques, from painting and collage to clay and printmaking. Designed to encourage self-expression and sensory exploration, this camp will spark creativity in even the littlest artists. Get ready for a fun-filled week of masterpieces, messy hands, and lots of artistic fun!

She's All That
Ages 8-12 yrs

A fun, confidence-building summer experience designed just for girls ages 8–12! She’s All That Camp is all about empowerment, friendship, and discovering your unique strengths through a mix of adventure, creativity, and connection.

Campers will spend the first part of the week at the Downtown Rec Center (13333 Middleton Ave) building confidence through team games, creative projects, and group activities. Midweek, we head out for a special adventure day at Roaring Camp and a hike through Henry Cowell Redwoods—connecting with nature and each other. The week wraps up with a special overnight experience, giving campers a chance to bond, build independence, and create lasting memories.

Throughout the week, girls will explore self-expression, leadership, kindness, and courage in a supportive and uplifting environment. From laughter-filled activities to meaningful conversations, this camp is designed to help every camper feel strong, seen, and inspired.

Dates: July 13–17
Ages: 8–12 years
Locations: BC Rec Center, Roaring Camp/Henry Cowell, and overnight in Boulder Creek
